Easy Hearty Beef Stew

This 1-2-3 recipe turned out so yummy I thought I’d share. I only got the finish pot-full pictured but it was gobbled up. Cold fall days mom would make a huge pot of stew. She give us kids a tin bowl full with a wooden spoon and we pretend to be cowboys around the campfire eating stew and telling stories.

This I made in my pressure cooker or a All day crock pot works just fine.

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2-3 Tsp oil
  • 2 lg carrots

  • Med onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 Cup white mushrooms sliced
  • Tsp garlic chopped
  • S and pepper
  • Tsp paprika
  • 1 can roasted red tomatoes
  • Three cups water
  • Tbs season salt ( garlic parsley)
  • Rosemary sprig in bag
  • Stew seasoning packet – or tbs browning

Release steam and add all the rest of ingredients. Cook 40 minutes.
